Day 1 – Marrakech → Dades Valley via Aït Ben Haddou

Your journey begins in the vibrant city of Marrakech, leaving behind the bustling souks as you drive through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. The winding road offers endless panoramic views, with stops for photos and a refreshing mint tea.
By midday, you’ll arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Ben Haddou, a stunning fortified ksar famous for its earthen clay architecture and Hollywood appearances. Explore its winding alleys and imagine life here centuries ago.
After lunch, continue through lush oases and dramatic rock formations to the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Enjoy dinner and overnight in a cozy mountain guesthouse.

Day 2 – Dades Valley → Sahara Desert via Todgha Gorge

Wake up to fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast with views of the valley. Take a short walk to see the Dades rock formations, shaped by centuries of wind and water.
Next, head to the Todgha Gorge, where towering cliffs create a dramatic natural passage. Stroll along the cool riverbed and watch local climbers scale the cliffs.
In the afternoon, you’ll reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Here, trade your car for a camel and embark on a serene ride into the golden dunes as the sun paints the horizon in shades of orange and pink.
Arrive at your luxury desert camp, greeted with Moroccan tea. After a delicious dinner under the stars, enjoy a traditional Berber drum performance around the campfire.

Day 3 – Sahara Desert → Fez via Midelt

Rise early to witness the magical sunrise over the endless sand dunes. After breakfast, ride back to Merzouga and begin your scenic journey north.
The road takes you through Midelt, a peaceful mountain town where you’ll stop for lunch. Continue through the majestic cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, home to the playful Barbary macaques.
By evening, arrive in Fez and check into your charming riad in the old medina, ready to explore Morocco’s cultural heart.

Day 4 – Full-Day Cultural Tour of Fez

Step back in time as you enter the medieval streets of Fez. Begin at the iconic Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate) before diving into the maze-like alleys of the old medina. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, admire the colorful leather vats at the Chouara Tanneries, and watch master artisans craft copper, leather, and pottery.
The tour also includes Al Quaraouiyine University, the world’s oldest existing educational institution.
Enjoy lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant, then spend your afternoon exploring hidden corners, boutique shops, or simply relaxing in your riad.

Day 5 – Fez → Chefchaouen (The Blue Pearl)

Today’s drive through the Rif Mountains offers stunning views of rolling hills and charming villages. By midday, you’ll arrive in Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-painted streets and laid-back atmosphere.
Wander through the maze of alleys, shop for local crafts, and sip fresh orange juice in Outa el Hammam Square. In the evening, hike or walk to Ras El Maa for a magical sunset over the city. Dinner and overnight in a peaceful riad.

Day 6 – Chefchaouen Morning → Return to Fez

Spend your morning enjoying the serenity of Chefchaouen — perfect for photography, shopping for handmade rugs or woven blankets, or simply sipping coffee in a sunny plaza.
